What we offer here at Lyles House

Why choose us

Lyles House is a home in which a person can enjoy companionship, care and attention and a service that has been established in a homely, family atmosphere; providing freedom of choice and quality of life one should expect and deserve.

Residents are encouraged to personalise their room and make suggestions for improving the service they receive.  In addition residents are invited to make full use of their home and facilities and pursue their hobbies.

We offer a trial of 4 weeks after which either the resident or home can make the arrangement permanent. The first four weeks represents a trial period for both parties after which a review takes place with the resident, manager/assistant manager, family/representative and social worker. If it is clear that the residents needs can be fully met within Lyles House a permanent place is offered to the resident.

There are twenty comfortable bedrooms, and fourteen have en-suite facilities and six with washing facilities; all bedrooms are fitted with a nurse call system to summon assistance if required.  There are also two main bathrooms containing a large bath and assisted hoists. Fifteen of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor, and five on the first floor, the latter are accessed via stairs and two chairlifts.  All bedrooms have T.V. points and are fully furnished.
